Man put behind bars for holding human fetuses

Thailand police on Friday arrested a 28-year-old British national for allegedly trying to sell six human fetuses, which are considered extremely importance in Thailand black magic rituals.

The person was identified as Chow Hok Kuen of Taiwan origin. According to the police, this person purchase six fetuses from  a person in Thailand for $6,500 and planned to sell them in Taiwan for six times to the purchased amount. He was sentence one year imprisonment to which 2,000 baht was added to. The fetuses were recovered from his possession. They were wrapped in a golden leaf and were roasted.

Whether its belief or whatsoever, any ritual or belief that causes harm to others is certainly something that should not be tolerated. If such wild beliefs spread like contagious diseases, then pregnant women will fear to even to go to hospitals.    (Phani)
