Bengaluru Rains Turns into A Nightmare:- After a torrential downpour of 3cm approximately for an hour created havoc across Bengaluru on Sunday afternoon. At several places, there is waterlogging, notable at KR Circle and Seshadripuram. A 22-year-old Infosys employee died after her MUV was drowned when she was travelling along with her five relatives at the KR Circle underpass. She was stuck in neck-deep rainwater and died. The death toll was raised to 5 in 48 hours. A 31-year-old Lokesh Kumar who was standing near the drainage and watching the rise of water suddenly falls into it and die.

A 40-year-old two-storey building at Doddabommasandra was demolished by the BBMP officials after it caved out due to heavy rain. Many areas around the city were uprooted by trees and water logs around the road are troubling the vehicles. Rescue teams are helping many and have saved an elderly man and a woman, who was stuck in the water clogs. Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) predicted the rains with thunderstorms will continue. The intensity of the rainfall will only decrease on the 25th of May and Karnataka to have heavy rainfall till the 27th of May.

On the other side of the country, Delhi has its hottest day at 46 degrees Celsius causing strains to the power grid.
