Ramdev accuses UPA on the "charitable" status issue

Playing the counter-offensive move against the UPA government, Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev had dug out at the UPA government for its action of trying to revoke the charitable status of his trust Patanjali Yogpeeth. He said that UPA has deliberately chosen him to intimidate him in his war against corruption  against UPA.

He said, "Just because we speak against corruption and black money, the Congress puts dirty allegations on us. We have put all our financial details regarding our trusts on our website" talking against his anti-corruption movement against corrupt officials.  "Why doesn't the Congress do the same?", Ramdev questioned.

Recently the IT department had disclosed that his trust had an income of over Rs 72 Crore as oppised to the claims of zero income.
This has urged the Income Tax Department to monitor his bank accounts. It is also trying to ascertain the source of the money which was transferred from Dubai.

An ECIR had been filed against Ramdev's close aideAcharya Bhattacharya after he was targetted by the Enforcement Directorate ED, after it was revealed that he had opened trusts in US and UK with the help of forged passports.
