India reports less than 30,000 Coronavirus Cases after 132 days:- The country reported 29,689 new cases of coronavirus in the last 24 hours and India reported less than 30,000 cases after 132 days. The number of active cases of coronavirus too dropped down below 4 lakh mark for the first time after 124 days and they stand at 3,98,100. 415 new deaths are reported in the country in the last 24 hours taking the total death toll reach 4,21,382. The total number of recoveries in the country reached 3,06,21,469 and the total number of Indians who are vaccinated reached 44,19,12,395 as per the reports from the Union Health Ministry. A total number of 42,263 people recovered from coronavirus in the last 24 hours in India. The weekly positivity rate in India is at 2.33 percent and the daily positivity rate is 1.73 percent.
Kerala reported 11,586 new cases of coronavirus and 135 people passed away in the state. After the relaxations are imposed due to Eid, there is a huge rise in the new cases of coroanvirus in Kerala. Maharashtra reported 5000 new cases with 53 new deaths in the last 24 hours. There are 92,088 active cases of coronavirus in the state for now. As per the reports emerging from other countries, the cases saw a huge rise all over due to the delta variant. As per the reports coming from the Indian Council of Medical Research, the total samples tested in India on July 26th are said to be 17,20,110 and the samples that are tested in total in India are 45,91,64,121.
