Report says that the New Covid Wave in China will Kill a Million People:- The coronavirus scare is back in China and the country raised a threat for the entire globe again. It all started in China in the past and the coronavirus scare shattered each and every country of the globe for more than 2 years. After all the restrictions are lifted in China, the new wave is back in the country. The people of the country lost their patience and staged attacks on the healthcare workers. With nothing much to do, the Chinese government lifted all the restrictions. As per the latest report, 1.3 to 2.1 million lives of the people could be at risk if the government of China lifts the zero-Covid policy. The vaccination rate has been low and the booster doses are not taken by the most of the people due to the lack of hybrid immunity.

Airfinity, a London-based global health intelligence and analytic firm said that China has low levels of immunity. The citizenss are vaccinated with Sinovac and Sinopharm and they are said to have lower efficacy and they provide less protection against the coronavirus infection and death. The analysis said that the Chinese population has not acquired immunity through the previous infections and the vaccinations. The study said that there would be 167 to 279 million cases across China and the deaths would be between 1.3 and 2.1 million. The analytic firm asked China to ramp up the vaccination process to raise the immunity and the elderly population should be given the doses on a priority basis. All the neighbouring nations are on high alert. The Indian government will conduct a review meeting today to discuss about the further course of action.
