56,211 new coronavirus cases reported in India:- The daily tally of cases for coronavirus is taking a huge rise in the country in the recent weeks. A total number of 56,211 new cases are reported in the country in the last 24 hours and 271 people passed away in a day in India. 37,028 people got discharged in the country in the last 24 hours as per the reports from the Union Health Ministry. The total cases reported in India till date reached 1,20,95,855. The total number of recoveries in the country are said to be 1,13,93,021. The active cases in the country shot up to 5,40,720 and the total death toll in India reached 1,62,114. The total number of people who took the vaccination for coronavirus are 6,11,13,354.

As per the reports from the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), the total samples tested in India for coronavirus are said to be 24,26,50,025 and the samples tested yesterday are 7,85,864. As per the total number of cases, Maharashtra (2,745,518), Kerala (1,117,993), Karnataka (987,012), Andhra Pradesh (898,815), and Tamil Nadu (879,473) are the most impacted states of the country.
