India reports 12,881 new cases of Coronavirus:- A total number of 12,881 new cases of coronavirus are reported in the country in the last 24 hours and the total tally of Indian cases reached 1,09,50,201 as per the reports from the Union Health Ministry. The total number of recoveries in the country are said to be 1,06,56,845 and the death toll in the country stands at 1,56,014. 101 new deaths are reported in India in the last 24 hours in the country. The fatality rate in India dropped to 1.42 percent and the recovery rate in the country stands at 97.32 percent. The active caseload continues to remain less than 1.5 lakhs which is a good sign but there is a slight jump in the daily cases when compared to the past couple of days.

As per the reports coming from the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), the total number of samples tested in the country till date are said to be 20,87,03,791 and the samples that are tested yesterday are 7,26,562. A total number of 10.94 crore people are contracted with coronavirus across the globe over these few months and 24.16 lakh people passed away. More than 89 lakh people received the vaccination for coronavirus in India till yesterday. Maharashtra water resources minister and state NCP chief Jayant Patil is tested positive for coronavirus today and he informed the news through his twitter handle. The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) urged the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to permit the private sector to vaccinate the workforce for a faster recovery of the economy.
