Coronavirus India Tally Crosses 61 Lakh Mark:- The total cases of coronavirus in the country are not slowing down and the total tally now stands at 61,45,291 in India. A total number of 70,589 new cases are reported in the country and 776 people passed away yesterday. Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal are the states that are reporting a huge number of cases in the country. The recovery rate in the country stands at 83 percent and is increasing on regular basis. Maharashtra reported 13.5 lakhs cases while the total cases in Andhra Pradesh are said to be 6.8 lakhs.

A total number of 7,31,10,041 samples of coronavirus are tested in the country till date as per the reports from the Indian Council of Medica Research. The total samples tested yesterday are said to be 11,42,811. The death toll in India stands at 96,318. More than 50 lakh people have recovered from coronavirus in the country till date and the active cases are close to ten lakhs. Donald Trump, the President of the United States of America said that they have plans to distribute 150 million of coronavirus test kits (15-minute tests) in the coming weeks.

The total number of active cases of coronavirus in India are currently 9,47,576. The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) launched the National Clinical Registry for coronavirus that collects the systematic data related to COVID-19.
