Centre Issues Guidelines For Home Isolation For Coronavirus Cases:- The Health and Family Welfare Ministry of India issued special guidelines for home isolation for the coronavirus patients. In case of mild or pre-symptomatic patients, the ministry suggested strict home isolation and here are the guidelines:

A medical officer should determine and he should be assigned for a mild case of coronavirus. An undertaking of self-isolation should be filed to follow the guidelines. The patient should stay away from his family members and should be on strict quarantine. A caregiver should be available for mild patients round the clock. The caregiver should communicate about the health satus to the doctors.

The caretaker should take hydroxychloroquine prophylaxis as per the prescription suggested by the doctors and this should be done under the supervision of the medical officer who is treating the patient. All the patients should download Aarogya Sutra app on their mobiles and keep it active. The health status of the patient should be informed to the District Surveillance Officer.

The doctor should be called or informed when the patient is feeling difficulty in breathing, feeling pressure in the chest and when faces discolouration of lips and face. If the symptoms are resolved, the patient can discontinue the home isolation.
