GHMC Introduces Feed The Need:- Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation has been in plans to feed the people who are in need. GHMC announced that they would place public refrigerators so that people can donate their food left in these fridges and they can feed the needy. The first Feed the Need public fridges have been started near Shilparamam, Madhapur and near Jubilee Check post. Ten other fridges are yet to be launched.

Apple Home for Orphan Kids at Neknampur of Manikonda has come up with a proposal and GHMC gave its nod. It took some time and 530-litre capacity fridges are now installed and placed at the above locations. Many more are yet to come around Madhapur, Banjara Hills, Jubilee Hills, Erragadda, Red Hills, Chanda Nagar, and Gachibowli.
