GHMC Polls: TRS Takes A Clear Lead:- The counting for the GHMC polls commenced this morning and the BJP gained momentum after they dominated the results in the postal ballots. Soon after the counting started, TRS showed clean domination against all the parties in the city. Though several national leaders managed to reach Hyderabad and campaign for BJP, the results are not completely favorable. TRS is leading in 31 divisions while BJP is on the top in 12 divisions. AIMIM has 7 seats in lead and Congress is leading in one division. TDP lost its trace completely in Telangana and there are no independents showing their lead in the GHMC polls.

TRS is leading in several more divisions and a clear update would be expected by the afternoon. As per the predictions of the GHMC polls, TRS is ahead of all the parties and is expected to take over the Mayor seat of the GHMC. TRS planned the election campaign well and they managed to take all the development activities that are introduced by the TRS government. They could also convince the people of Hyderabad about the pathetic drainage system. Telangana Chief Minister KCR promised Rs 10,000 crores for the development of the Hyderabad's drainage system. The promises made in the manifesto seem to have worked in the favor of TRS.
