At last, the opening of Asilmetta flyover is announced.

Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao said that the opening of the fly over will be done in the first week of August.  After inspecting the progress of the construction work, Ganta Srinivasa Rao said that the opening of the flyover will be done by the Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy who is going to visit Vizag in connection with the Rachabanda program.

Ganta Srinivasa Rao made another announcement that is music for the ears of the residents of Visakhapatnam.  As the population of Greater Visakha reached 20 lakhs when Bhimli and Anakapalle Municipalities are included, a plan can be made for the construction of Metro rail also in Vizag.  He said that plans for the Metro are being made to submit to the Government.
