Ganta Srinivasa Rao Resigns As MLA:- TDP leader and ex-minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao has been inactive from politics after the defeat of TDP in the 2019 polls. There are wide speculations that Ganta Srinivasa Rao will join the leading YSRCP or BJP but the senior politician preferred not to respond to the speculations. Ganta Srinivasa Rao in a shocking move submitted his resignation for his MLA post today. He submitted his resignation to the AP Assembly Speaker Tammineni Sitaram in a designated format. There are also rumors that Ganta Srinivasa Rao was in touch with the leaders of Janasena but Pawan Kalyan was quite hesitant about Ganta's joining into the party.

Ganta Srinivasa Rao submitted his resignation as a protest against the privatization of the Vizag steel plant which left the political circles in deep shock. Ganta Srinivasa Rao also demanded the other leaders of Andhra Pradesh to submit their resignation and protest against the Vizag steel plant privatization. There were talks that Ganta Srinivasa Rao would lead the Kapu leaders through Uttarandhra Kapu Force but it was not materialized. Ganta Srinivasa Rao has not been in touch with TDP leaders and also stayed from the party and political activities in his constituency.
