Official: Kiran Kumar Reddy Joins Congress:- Andhra Pradesh Ex-Chief Minister Nallari Kiran Kumar Reddy has been away from politics after he was badly defeated in the last elections. Kiran Kumar Reddy floated his own party but he could not stand in the heat. After four years, Kiran Kumar Reddy is back into the game. As speculated Kiran Kumar Reddy joined Congress in the presence of AICC Chief Rahul Gandhi. Raghuveera Reddy and Pallamraju accompanied him during his joining.

Several Congress leaders opposed Kiran Kumar Reddy's joining back to Congress but Rahul Gandhi welcomed him into the party. There are talks that Kiran Kumar Reddy will be assigned a crucial role in the state operations soon and an official announcement would be made on this. Congress is in plans to bounce back in the Telugu states in the upcoming 2019 elections.
