Ganta Srinivasa Rao to be Nominated to Rajya Sabha from YSRCP:- TDP has been left in shock with the huge defeat in the recent Assembly and Parliament polls. The party continued to get shocks after several crucial leaders called a quit and defected from the party. There are speculations that ex-Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao is in plans to leave TDP but the senior politician slammed the speculations. Ganta Srinivasa Rao is all set to join YSRCP soon which formed the government in Andhra Pradesh.

YS Jagan felt that Ganta Srinivasa Rao's joining in the party would bring strength for YSRCP. Ganta Srinivasa Rao is also in talks with BJP leaders and hence YSRCP is in plans to induct him into the party at the earliest. Ganta Srinivasa Rao is offered Rajya Sabha MP seat after joining YSRCP. Ganta Srinivasa Rao going to Delhi will also avoid problems as there is a huge rift between Ganta Srinivasa Rao and Avanthi Srinivas, YSRCP leader and Bheemili MLA.
