Centre must propose T-Bill: AP whip

The Chief Whip of the state Gandra Venkata Ramana Reddy today said that the parliament must take up the Telangana bill in the coming session. He also ascertained that the Telangana formation was not in the hands of the state and centre must take up necessary action in this regards. He also proposed to visit the national capital to express the people’s opinion on Telangana and would request the centre to take up the bill at the earliest for the benefit of the people of the region.

Gandra Venkata Ramana Reddy hails from the Hanamkonda of the Warangal district in the Telangana region.  He won from the Bhupalpalle Assembly Constituency of the district as a Congress candidate. He was the DCC president, for about eleven years and has worked hard to keep the party afloat. He was earlier the MLC and has a proven track record of taking all groups along with him.
