KCR Introduces Four Bills in Telangana Assembly:- K Chandrasekhar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana introduced four bills in the Legislative Council of the state today. KCR introduced the Telangana Rights in Land and Pattadar Passbooks Bill 2020, Telangana Abolition of the Posts of Village Revenue Officers Bill 2020 while KTR introduced the Telangana Municipal Laws Amendment Bill 2020. Errabelli Dayakar Rao introduced the Telangana Panchayat Raj Amendment Bill 2020 in Telangana Assembly today. KCR explained about the new bills introduced and about the rules. KCR said that the system of VROs in the state is completely abolished.

"The VROs misused their power and the government decided to take this move. The new Revenue Bill will curb the corruption and bring hassle-free registrations in Telangana. All these are possible through Dharani portal which will be available for the public very soon. All the records of the lands will be available for the public and the registration process will be carried digitally through the Sub-Registrar offices or the Mandal Revenue Offices. The people can pay their visit as per the type of their property and the land rates are fixed. All the documents and records will be updated after the registration process of the property is completed. MROs will not have any discretionary powers" said KCR.
