Will Tweak CAB Says Amit Shah:- The violence and controversies against the Citizenship Amendment Bill (CAB) continued on Sunday too across the northeastern states. In a first public rally after the CAB was cleared in Parliament, Union Home Minister Amit Shah announced that they are ready to make the needed changes for CAB in the law as per the provisions considering the protests that are on in the northeastern states. He said that Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma along with his ministers met him on Friday and informed about the problems and protests.
Amit Shah made sure that he would discuss about this and will meet the leaders again after Christmas. "When we tabled CAB, Congress got stomach ache" commented Amit Shah in a public rally in Dhanbad. Amit Shah accused Congress for bringing up Hindu-Muslim politics which also encourages Naxalism. He blamed Congress for compromising on national security. BJP as of now is focused on the Jharkhand Assembly polls and all the top leaders are busy participating in the rallies.
