In his new mission crusading corruption Anna Hazare said that he would enter politics if the people wish him to be in politics and back him. "If people say that Anna should enter politics, then I could think about it," he said talking to media. "People are coming to me and saying that only fasting or protest will not help and that I should give an alternative. But I do not think so right now," he added.
He had also opined that the people's patience to combat against corruption had waned and they don't have the enthusiasm that they previously sported.
It has already been two years since the demands for a Lokpal Bill have been placed and the government has not taken any promising action. He said that it could be the time they started looking for alternatives since the government has acted yet and also stated that he still has a ray of hope that the government would introduce it.
Whatever his alternative is he said that the Lokpal Bill would be his first demand from the India Against Corruption. He said that the 15 corrupt ministers are only next on the list, and he also said that they are intentionally playing a role to further procrastinate the issue.
