Supreme dismisses AAP's plea

The Supreme Court of India has dismissed Aam Aadmi Party's plea to hold elections in Delhi as early as possible. The Apex court is satisfied with the Central government's action on the Delhi Assembly which was in suspension mode for nearly eight months. Further the Supreme added that it is the decision of  Election Commission of India to make arrangements for elections.

AAP's Prashant Bhushan urged the Supreme to direct the government to hold elections in Delhi the quickest. The Union government has informed the court that the Assembly is dissolved. AAP's Arvind Kejriwal resigned to the chief minister of Delhi on February 14 as the Jan Lokpal got deferred in the Assembly. AAP tried many ways to form government in Delhi but all its efforts went in water.
