Anna Hazare Hospitalised:- Social activist Anna Hazare who has been on fast broke it on February 5th and he was rushed to a hospital after he complained of weakness. The doctors identified that there is lack of blood supply to his brain because of which Anna Hazare was unwell. The 81-year-old veteran has been fasting from some time against corruption. Dr Bapu Kandekar clarified that his weakness was due to blood supply to his brain. Hazare, who lives in Ralegan Siddhi village in Ahmednagar district complained of illness after which he was rushed to the hospital.

He underwent an MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) scan after which he was rushed to a private hospital. The doctors confirmed that he was suffering from neurological problems. Anna Hazare lost 5 kgs during his agitation. He sought appointment of Lokpal at the Centre and Lokayuktas in states. Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and two Union ministers at his village conducted a meeting but did not respond to Anna Hazare's pleas after which he started his fast.
