CM appeases two ministers engaged in verbal war

Mamatha Banarjee had to intervene the warring ministers of cabinet in the Cabinet meeting on Monday. Sabina Yeasmin and Chandrima Bhattacharya were both engrossed in a verbal war in the cabinet until the Chief Minister intervened to mollify them.

Sabina, the minister for labor, had lapooned Chandima as she had not issued any orders to shift the health sub-centre. The sub center in her constituency had become inoperative and was damaged by floods. An application was filled out to Chandrima the minister of state for health by Sabina.

Sabina had alleged that Chandrima had dallyed the shifting of the inoperative sub-centre for no good reason. She at the cabinet meeting lost her cool and charged at Chandrima for the same issue. It was not until Mamatha stepped up to placate them both did they stop.

However, speaking to the press, Chandrima defended that Sabina was merely speaking in a louder tone as they were far away and wanted her to hear about the issue while the CM misunderstood it as  a tiff between them over the issue. "I have promised Sabina to solve the issue", she said.
