Anti-corruption crusader, Anna Hazare is going to hold hunger protest at Jantar Mantar? Yes, say sources close to Anna team as the Government reportedly didn’t look into the corruption charges leveled by them against 18 ministers.

A team Anna member has said that the Centre has been dilly-dallying on tabling Lokpal Bill and hence the fasting.  Ralegan Siddhi,  a member of Anna team said Congress led-UPA Government doesn’t want a Lokpal. He has also said that the government has flip-flopped on the decision of implementing a strong Lokpal to put an end to corruption in the country.

Meanwhile, the amended Lokpal Bill-which has been opposed by Anna team and followers-tagged the bill as Jokpal Bill. The same amended Lokpal Bill would be referred to selection committee of the Parliament on Tuesday.

What will happen if Anna Hazare stages hunger protest? Whether or not it would effect the Congress party, the political analysts opine that it would undoubtedly have an impact on by-polls in Andhra Pradesh.  (Phani)
