Human Trafficking is raising its ugly hoods in Bihar. Police have busted a racket and rescued 25 minor girls who were forced to dance.
The Bihar Police on Monday rescued twenty five minor girls who were forced to dance naked in a theatre. About 44 people were arrested by the authorities from the Indo-Nepal border in Bihar's Araria district. The victims were forced to dance for entertainment and for fetching good buyers. Police are deeply investigating in the case to find the various links of the racket. They interrogated the rescued and sent them to district children's welfare committee for rehabilitation. Police sources revealed that all the girls are minors and arrested people are from Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Nepal and other parts of Bihar.
In spite of stringent combing down operations by the government, still some pockets on the border seem to flourish in flesh trade. The news sets fear among the poor in the border districts. The minors were asked to dance in a fair at the borders. Ultimately its looks like improper income or insufficient income of the households have aided the flesh trade in these parts of the country.
