UP police arrested a 22-year old youth for possessing a country made pistol and standing close to the congress general secretary Rahul Gandhi last night breaching his SPG security when he was arrested and taken to the Kasna police station.UP police arrested and took Rahul to the Kasna police station when he had held a protest demonstration at Bhatta-Parsaul village in support of farmers’ demands but a huge crowd gathered at the police station to see him even in the dead of the night.
After a while, police were stunned to find in the crowd a young person possessing a country made pistol and standing close to Rahul Gandhi and immediately took him aside for questioning.
The UP police later handed over the youth to the Special Protection Group personnel guarding Gandhi.
