Congress' Chalo Raj Bhavan Protest Turns Violent:- Congress leaders called up for Chalo Raj Bhavan today and it turned violent. The Congress leaders called for the protest after the Enforcement Directorate issued summons for Congress Chief Sonia Gandhi and her son Rahul Gandhi recently. Rahul Gandhi was drilled for three days and the investigation is happening. Congress Telangana Chief Reventh Reddy called for Chalo Raj Bhavan and the leaders and supporters attended in huge numbers. The groups and leaders were restricted from the Khairatabad junction. The protestors lit fire for a couple of bikes and broke the glasses of TSRTC buses. Some of them climbed on to the buses and staged protests against BJP and Centre.

Tight security has been imposed near Raj Bhavan. Special barricades are arranged and the traffic was diverted. Congress leaders like Revanth Reddy, Jagga Reddy, Bhatti Vikramarka, Geetha Reddy, Bosuraju, Mahesh Kumar and Srinivas Krishnan are taken into custody after they rushed towards Raj Bhavan. When Revanth Reddy was arrested, protestors attacked the cops and tried hard to prevent the arrest. Some violent situations were seen all over. Some of the protestors got injured in the fight. The cops also conducted lathi charge on the leaders and supporters of Congress. Senior leader Renuka Chowdary caught the collar of a cop when he tried to arrest her. The traffic was blocked in and around Khairatabad junction after the protest. The traffic cops tried hard to divert the traffic.
