UAE Opts To Work For 4.5 Days In A Week:- The coronavirus pandemic brought lot of strain among the people and most of them are struggling due to stress. The United Arab Emirates government now slashed the official work timings to four and a half days across the country. The people across Dubai will enjoy two and a half days of weekend and the weekend is now moved to Saturday and Sunday. This move is taken to improve the competitiveness told the officials. UAE government now comes with the line with the non-Arab world. The weekend for the public sector starts from the afternoon of Friday and it ends on Sunday. Friday prayers at the mosques will take place after 1:15 PM around the year.

UAE government is keen to align with the global markets and took the call. This new working week happens to be the shortest in the world. UAE is the first country of the globe to introduce a national worker shorter week as per the reports from the news agency WAM. UAE worked on a Thursday-Friday weekend until 2006 and the weekend moved to Friday and Saturday later. The new move will boost the work-life balance in the country.
