Air Bubble Agreement: Indians Can Now Fly To USA, UK, Canada And UAE:- With the coronavirus outbreak, all the international borders are sealed to prevent the spread of the virus. The international flights are called off from the month of March. The Indian Aviation Ministry resumed the domestic services in May but the international flight services got delayed. The Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) today announced all the Indians that are holding valid documents and visas can travel to USA, UK, Canada and UAE under the air bubble agreement. As per the guidelines issued by the European Union, all the people holding essential visas can now travel abroad.
India has not been allowing all the types of visa holders because of the widespread of coronavirus pandemic. Only those with essential visa that is approved by the Ministry of Home Affairs are allowed to enter into the country. India and Maldives agreed to create an air bubble to travel between the countries. The Maldives happens to be the first neighboring country to India which closed the deal. India has an inked air bubble deal with the USA, France from the past few weeks. The international air travel is badly disrupted and the carriers are suffering huge losses as the services are kept on hold from the past few months. India is in plans to focus on creating air bubbles with all the countries and resume services before the normal air services will resume after the pandemic comes to an end.
