India Reports 42,982 New Coronavirus Cases:- A total number of 42,982 new cases of coronavirus are reported in the country in the last 24 hours in India taking the total case tally to 3,18,12,114. As per the reports from the Union Health Ministry, the total number of Indians who recovered from coronavirus in the last 24 hours are said to be 41,726 and the total number of recoveries in the country climbed to 3,09,74,748. 533 people passed away in the country in the last 24 hours and the total death tally reached 4,26,290. There are 4,11,076 active cases of coronavirus in the country by today as per the reports from the Health Ministry. The total number of vaccinated Indians, for now, are said to be 48,93,42,295.

As per the reports from the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), the total samples that are tested in India by August 4th are said to be 16,64,030 and the samples that are tested in total in India are said to be 47,48,93,363. The active caseload in India is equal to 1.29 percent of the total infections in the country reported. The daily positivity rate of India is 2.58 percent and the weekly positivity rate is 2.37 percent. As per the reports coming from the Centre, the total number of vaccine doses administered till date is said to be 51.01 crores.
