3,52,991 new cases reported in India:- India is on all time high with the new spread of coronavirus cases in the country. A total number of 3,52,991 new cases for coronavirus are reported in India in the last 24 hours and the total tally of cases reached 1,73,13,163. A total number of 1,43,04,382 people recovered from coronavirus in total and the death toll climbed to 1,95,123. The total number of active cases for coronavirus are said to be 28,13,658 and the total number of people who took up coronavirus vaccination are said to be 14,19,11,223. 2812 people died in India in the last 24 hours. An Air Indian flight brought 318 oxygen concentrators from New York to Delhi and the flight reached Delhi today.

Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa announced a complete lockdown for the state for the next 14 days starting from tomorrow. All the essential shops will remain open from 6 AM to 10 AM every day. The Delhi government is the next to announce free coronavirus vaccine for the people of the state above the age of 18 years from May 1st. The Delhi High Court asked the government of the state to arrange more coronavirus testing centres. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal extended the lockdown of the state for one more week in New Delhi. Kejriwal also said that there should be no different prices for the coronavirus vaccine in the state.
