47,262 new cases reported in India:- A total number of 47,262 cases are reported in the country in the last 24 hours and 275 deaths are reported in India. Maharashtra reported 28,699 cases and the spread is huge. Maharashtra, Punjab, Karnataka, Gujarat, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh continued to report a high number of cases. The Centre yesterday lifted all the restrictions and asked all the people above 45 years to get vaccinated starting from April 1st. The Union Health Ministry today said that a novel variant of coronavirus is reported in the country in the recent weeks. The total cases of coronavirus in the country reached 1,17,34,058. The active cases in the country are said to be 3,68,457 which is 3.14 percent of the total reported cases in India. The recovery rate dropped to 95.49 after a high number of cases are reported in India in the last 24 hours.
The death toll reported till date stands at 1,60,441. The total number of people who recovered from coronavirus are said to be 1,12,05,160 and the fatality rate reached 1.37 percent. The Centre asked the states to impose their own restrictions within the state but asked the states not to take any call about the inter-state movement. There are talks that the new variant of coronavirus is spotted in 18 Indian states as per the reports coming from the Union Health Ministry. The total number of cases reported over the globe is said to be 12.17 crores and 26.89 lakh people passed away in the world in total till date. It is one year for lockdown in the country but India is yet to recover from the unemployment blow. As per the reports from the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), the total samples tested in the country till date are said to be 23,64,38,861 and the samples tested yesterday in India stood at 10,25,628. The Centre also asked the states to increase the RT-PCR tests by 70 percent from the current tests.
