Hyderabad Constable Dies After Testing Positive With Coronavirus:- A constable from Hyderabad died after he was tested positive with coronavirus. The 37-year-old constable was suffering with high fever and was admitted to the hospital on May 13th. He was tested positive and he breathed his last yesterday in Gandhi Hospital. He is the first one from the police department to lose life in Telangana. The constable has been working on duty at Puranapul checkpost. He has been on duty to check and seize the vehicles at the checkpost. He was attending the duty without fail from the past two weeks before he was admitted to the hospital.
He was taken to a private hospital first after his temperature spiked. He was later shifted to Gandhi Hospital. After he failed to respond to the treatment, the constable passed away yesterday at 10.30 OM. The samples are collected from the primary contacts in his family. He is survived by his wife and two children. The constable along with his family stays in Vanasthalipuram and is a native of Nalgonda district. The last rites are performed today. Telangana DGP Mahender Reddy passed on his condolences to the family members. There are 1661 cases of coronavirus in Telangana and 40 people passed away.
