66% Turnout For Second Phase of Polls:- The second phase of Lok Sabha polls took place yesterday in the country across 95 constituencies. 66 percentage got recorded across the country during the second phase of polls. Puducherry recorded the highest percentage of 80.47 while Jammu and Kashmir recorded the lowest at 43.4%. Bihar witnessed a turnout of 62.52% which was higher than in 2014. As in the first phase, several incidents of EVM malfunctioning have been recorded across the country. Here is the recorded percentage of polling state wise:

Tamil Nadu: 70.90%

Karnataka: 67.79%

Maharashtra: 62%

Uttar Pradesh: 62%

Assam: 73%

Bihar: 62.52%

Odisha: 64%

Chhattisgarh: 71.09%

West Bengal: 76%

Jammu and Kashmir: 43.3%

Manipur: 74.3%

Puducherry: 80.47%
