Fifth Phase of Lok Sabha Polls in The Country Today:- The fifth phase of Lok Sabha polls in India started today and nine crore voters will decide the fate of 674 candidates. Top politicians Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, Rajnath Singh and Smriti Irani will test their luck in the polls. The polling will be held across 51 Lok Sabha constituencies. Almost 40 seats have been swept by the Congress in 2014 polls. Uttar Pradesh is heading for polls in 14 Lok Sabha seats, Rajasthan will have 12 seats. West Bengal and Madhya Pradesh are heading for polls in seven seats each.

Bihar will have polling in five seats and Jharkhand is heading for polls in four seats. Jammu and Kashmir's Anantnag seat will head for polls today. Over 94,000 polling stations are set for the polls. This is the smallest phase of election among all. With this phase, elections will be done in 424 seats and polls are to be held in 118 Lok Sabha constituencies. The entire poll procedure will be completed by May 19th and the results would be out on May 23rd.
