Third Phase of Lok Sabha Polls Starts on a Decent Note:- After two phases of Lok Sabha polls in the country completed on a remarkable note, India is heading for the third phase of polls today. The polling is taking place across 117 Lok Sabha constituencies across 14 states and union territories. Some Lok Sabha seats across Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Jammu and Kashmir, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Odisha, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal are heading for polls. Gujarat, Kerala, Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Goa and Daman and Diu will get polling in all the Lok Sabha constituencies.
Indian Prime Minister visited his mother's residence in Gandhinagar and took her blessings. He traveled to Ahmedabad and he casts his vote. Modi expressed his confidence of sweeping the polls again all over the country. Tight security has been imposed ahead of the polls in all the constituencies. Here are the number of constituencies as per the states in which the polling will take place:
Assam: 4 seats
Bihar: 5 seats
Chhattisgarh: 7 seats
Dadra and Nagar Haveli: 1 seat
Daman and Diu: 1 seat
Goa: 2 seats
Gujarat: 26 seats
Jammu and Kashmir: 1 seat
Karnataka: 14 seats
Kerala: 20 seats
Maharashtra: 14 seats
Odisha: 6 seats
Uttar Pradesh: 10 seats
West Bengal: 5 seats
