Economic terrorism- Never ending issue?

Vijayawada Police commissioner Venkateshwar Rao clarified that a fake currency, which is coming from the countries like Pakistan and Bangladesh is being circulated in AP.

The fake currency is not able to be distinguished from the original. This is making the circulation more easier in the country. “All the fake currency might be printed in the government offices of the respected countries”, the commissioner opined.

From West Bengal and Punjab to AP

“Through the states of West Bengal and Punjab, the fake currency is coming to Andhra Pradesh, the consequences would be severe on all those who are involved in this,” the commissioner strongly warned.

In fact, it is not new to Pakistan. There are many instances in the past,, where the country was caught in the issue and regarding this, a word called ‘Economic terrorism’ was also coined.

Pakistani network at every step

Recently, a Bangladeshi was caught at Dhaka Airport with 2.5 crores fake currency. The person who was named Mohammad Sajjad Hossain was on a flight from Doha to Dhaka. He travelled from Karachi to Doha and from there to Dhaka. From the investigation, it was found that he is a frequent visitor to Pakistan.

Hossain visited Pakistan after getting a new passport. In fact, the station master is a Pakistani named Mohd. Jamal, who supported Hossain.

So, throughout a crime journey of  a Pakistani, the support of Pakistan and Pakistanis is always there. As the network is so wide, it is getting difficult to eradicate the fake currency completely and all the actions that are being taken are remaining as partial.
