Sri Lanka Slams Pakistan To Win The Asia Cup 2022:- After Team India's exit, Pakistan and Sri Lanka have reached the final of the Asia Cup T20 series for 2022. Pakistan is the hot favorite of the year after the team performed better than all the other teams. Pakistan won the toss in the final and elected to bowl first in the Asia Cup 2022 final that took place last night in Dubai International Stadium. Sri Lanka scored 170 for the loss of six wickets which is a decent score in T20s. Bhanuka Rajapaksa (71 not out), Wainindu Hasaranga (36) and Dhananjaya de Silva (28) scored the best among the Srilankan batsmen. Haris Rauf (3/29), Iftikhar Ahmed (1/21) and Shadab Khan (1/28) took the wickets among the Pakistan bowlers.

Pakistan had an easy target considering the form of their batsmen. But the team tumbled down for 147 in their 20 overs. Mohammad Rizwan (55), Iftikhar Ahmed (32) and Haris Rauf (13) scored their best among the batsmen of Pakistan. Sri Lanka won the final by 23 runs and bagged the Asia Cup 2022. Pramod Madushan (4/34), Wanindu Hasaranga (3/27) and Chamika Karunaratne (2/33) are the reasons for Pakistan's downfall. Bhanuka Rajapaksa is awarded with the Player of the Match and Wanindu Hasaranga is named as the Player of the Tournament for Asia Cup 2022.
