T Issue on Three State Leaders

The versions of the leaders in the Congress party on the splitting of the State in to two are changing according to the developments in the Center entire details of which apparently are not known to any of them.  That is why they are making guarded statements so that those statements can be used in any way.

Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao said that all efforts will be made to ensure an indevided State.  He said that United Andhra public meetings will be held soon at Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam and Hyderabad and main leaders like the Deputy Chief Minister Damodar Raja Narsimha  will be contacted to explain the need for a United State.

PCC President Botsa Satyanarayana said at Tirupati after visiting the shrine that he is for the United State. But, Botsa says, the final decision of the high command has to be honored by all.

Now as per the latest development as AICC General Secretary and State in charge Digvijay Singh says, party’s decision on formation of the Telangana State depends on the three leaders- The Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy, The Deputy Chief Minister Damodara Raja Narasimha and PCC President Botsa Satyanarayana.

As Digvijay Singh submitted his report on the issue, those three leaders are to submit their reports before the Core Committee of the Congress Party at an appropriate time when the Party President Sonia Gandhi and the Core Committee can fix the time and a decision will be taken at that time.

Like many slips between cup and lips, the core committee will come to a conclusion based on the report already submitted by Digvijay Singh and the three State Leaders’ opinion to be submitted.  Then there should be a free time for the core committee and Sonia Gandhi to take up the issue.  At that time the three leaders ready with their recommendations should attend the meeting and then a decision will be taken based on all the reports and opinions.  And the cup of T may slip at any juncture.
