Chief minister Kiran Kumar Reddy seems to be in a catch 22 situation. After he adorned the chief minister throne, things appeared more or less passive with Kiran apparently taking a diplomatic stance. He soon came under criticism from the political parties that are opposed to Congress. The oppositions said Kiran was an inefficient leader and some of them within Congress party too reportedly expressed their disattisfaction towards Kiran.

If we look at the recent past, as said by observers, chief minister Kiran Kumar changed his style. He became more aggressive in taking decisions. And now the opposition parties that took on him alleging his inefficiency are trying to corner him alleging that he's taking decisions without keeping in view the public welfare. Although this seemed to be true to some extent, as said by the observers, he apparently seemed to have taken such steps to ensure that opposition parties don't tag him as an inefficient. In the process to apparently reflect himself as the leader who can take decisions on own, did he invite wrath of Congress high command as well as the public? It's a million dollar question!
