Hyderabad Mayor Mohammed Majid Hussan who resigned to the post is eyeing the Assembly polls now. Following the directions of his party Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (MIM), Majid resigned to Mayor post and is likely contest from any constituency from the old city.

Also MIM is reconsidering their alliance with Congress and is looking at YSR Congress party. Asaduddin Owaisi shares a good bond with late YSR and he openly talked about YS Jagan in various platforms. Also this would act like an advantage for YSR Congress party which took a U turn on Telangana.

Coming to Majid, he is one the youngest leaders in MIM and has been actively moving these days gathering support.
