For the second time after the sensational murder of faction leader Maddelacheruvu Suri, some Telugu TV channels today telecast stories saying that his suspected killer Bhanu Kiran was arrested this morning in Delhi but there is no confirmation from the Delhi police on his arrest.

Hyderabad police commissioner AK Khan also said that the news reports of Bhanu arrest were not correct. “As far as my knowledge goes, he was not arrested,” he told media persons in Hyderabad. ETV and some other channels said that police searched hotels and lodges at Karol Bagh in Delhi on a tip-off and arrested Bhanu from a hotel.

Some ten days ago, there were reports that Bhanu was arrested in Bangalore from a guest house but Khan denied his arrest then also.

Meanwhile, police have interrogated the wife of Manmohan Singh who worked as the private gunman for slain faction leader Suri to find out his whereabouts. Manmohan Singh is also on the run along with Bhanu after the killing of Suri.
