The main accused in faction leader Gangula Suryanarayana Reddy's murder, Bhanu Kiran has alleged assets worth Rs. 40 crore in Hyderabad, Bangalore and Anantapur, said CID officials after interrogating Kiran and Mangali Krishna for five days. CID, who took Bhanu Kiran into custody for five days, has produced him before the court today. The court remanded Bhanu to judicial custody until July 4.

The sources said several matters pertaining to alleged settlements came to light in the five-day-investigation by the CID slueths. Bhanu was said to have admitted that he indulged in n number of settlements across the state besides investing huge amounts of money in films. It is known that Bhanu Kiran allegedly murdered his master Suri in Hyderabad last year and fled from the situation. The case was initially probed by central crime station, which was later transferred to CID. The CID police arrested Bhanu recently and produced him before the media and later before the magistrate, who remanded Bhanu Kiran.
