Former minister Siddha Reddy passes away

Former minister Seelam Siddha Reddy, 86, has passed away at his residence in Hyderabad this afternoon.

Siddha Reddy, who worked as minister in the state cabinet in 1967, hailed from Banigandlapadu village of Errupalem Mandalam in Khammam district. Mr Siddha Reddy has been suffering from old age problems for the last few months and his health condition deteriorated in the last few days.

Chief Minster Kirankumar reddy, former ministers Ramireddy Venkata reddy and JC Diwakar reddy and Minister Kasu Krishna Reddy visited his residence early in the morning and inquired about his health.

However, hours later, news trickled in that Siddha reddy breathed his last at his Khairatabad residence. (JUBS)
