Small children and elderly people are facing the wrath of the Sun.  A steam of heat emitted by the earth was witnessed at the open casts of coal mines.  Crows and bats fell dead due to the heat.   A white tiger in the Nehru Zoological Park at Hyderabad died taking four babies in its womb along the cause of the death is not confirmed by the zoo authorities as heat.  Deaths are reported from all most all the districts of the State.

Revenue minister Raghuveera Reddy announced compensation of Rs.50000/- for the kin of the deceased due to heat under Apathbandhu Scheme.
