Serving a stern warning to the congress MLAs owing allegiance to the YSR congress party chief YS Jaganmohan reddy, Chief Minister Kirankumar reddy asked all party men to behave themselves in tune with party guidelines or quit their political posts and leave the party once and for all.
Addressing the district unit party meeting in Srikakulam Wednesday evening, the chief minister asked all pro-Jagan MLAs and leaders to stick to the party discipline. “If you don’t stick to the party line, quit your posts and leave the party,” he told the meeting where pro-Jagan MLA Mr Krishna Das was also present.
“You have got political posts through the party and if you have any prudence and political sense, stick to the party discipline but if you want to leave the party, resign your posts and leave the party,” the chief minister said in his first ever fierce attack on the pro-Jagan loyalists.
Saying that the party has got a good number of leaders and workers who work hard, the chief minister said the party will promote only hard working leaders and activists.
Kirankumar asserted that all the welfare schemes introduced by the late YSR were the party decisions and not the individual decisions. “The credit goes to the party and not to any individual,” he said indicating that the welfare schemes of the congress party are not the personal properties of late YSR or his son Jagan.
“All welfare schemes of the YSR regime were the results of the joint decisions of the congress leaders and ministers,” he asserted, adding that he has no differences with the new PCC chief Botsa Satyanarayana. All nominated posts will soon be filled up and all active party members will be given identity cards, he said.
