Chief Minister Kirankumar reddy said today the government would issue interest-free loans to women from January 1 and an amount of Rs.10, 000 Cr has been earmarked for the purpose.
Addressing a mammoth crowd at the Rachchabanda programme at Shadnagar in Mahaboobnagar district, he said the loan amounts would directly be credited into the bank accounts of the beneficiaries.
The CM, who is basking in the glory of completion of one year in office, also announced that model schools would be established in 64 Mandals of the district very soon. “We will take all possible steps for the development of the SCs and STs and Indira Jala Prabha will be implemented vigorously to provide irrigation water to all lands,” he said.
Observing that 15 lakh jobs would be created in the next three years, Kirankumar said that 50,000 people would be given jobs in each district.
When some women demanded that the prices of essential commodities should be reduced and they don’t want the Re.1 per kilo rice scheme, he said a special committee would soon be formed to control prices. (JUBS)
