Kiran in damage control mode

Bitten by the bug of criticism leveled against him by the deputy chief minister Damodar Rajanarasimha in the Thursday’s first state level congress core committee meeting presided over by the Union Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad, Chief Minister Kirankumar reddy jumped into a damage control mode.

Several congress leaders also lodged open complaints against Kirankumar to Azad finding fault with his style of functioning.

With this, the chief minister suddenly found himself pushed to the wall and thought of resurrecting his stature by making amends and responding with some quick action.

The CM sent his close friend and MLA Mr Linga Reddy to Delhi with a report containing his answers to all the questions raised by Rajanarasimha and others. The CM is reportedly of the view that PCC president Botsa Satyanarayana encouraged the leaders to speak and complain against him in the presence of Azad.

Linga Reddy met Home Minister Chidambaram in Delhi and submitted Kirankumar’s report to him. Reports said Botsa and Damodar Rajanarasimha are also leaving for Delhi tonight or tomorrow morning to put forth their points of view.

Meanwhile, Kirankumar reddy is reportedly very unhappy with the constitution of the core committee. (JUBS)
