Kiran orders Collectors to take steps for notification on 1 lakh jobs

Chief Minister Kirankumar reddy directed the District Collectors to take necessary steps to issue notifications before this month end to provide 1.16 lakh jobs to the youth.

Addressing the first ever District Collectors’ conference of his regime in Hyderabad today, Kiran asked the Collectors to implement the one-rupee-a-kilo rice scheme strictly without compromising on the quality of rice.

He also directed them to hold peace committee meetings twice a month and ensure perennial peace in their districts. Observing that Rs.873 Cr was given on loans to women for 25 paisa interest during the year, Kirankumar told them the government would embark on a scheme to give interest-free loans to farmers from January 1.

“It is your responsibility to implement the scheme with utmost accuracy,” he told the Collectors, adding that the state government has asked the Centre to link the employment guarantee scheme with agriculture.

The CM also talked of housing scheme and Indira Jala Prabha and sought effective involvement of the District Collectors in their implementation.  (JUBS)
