Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) supremo Mayawati fired on Bharatiya Janata Party Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi and vowed that she would prevent him from become the PM of the nation. Mayawati called Modi a liar and cautioned minorities. Talking to the media persons outside the Parliament the former chief minister of Uttar Pradesh said, “Modi says less truth and more lies. BJP promises something and does the opposite.”

Interestingly Mayawati clarified her and her party's stand to support the UPA government. “To keep the communal forces away, we are backing the UPA government. The Third Front won't do any good for the nation,” added Mayawati. BSP is all set for campaign for the Lok Sabha elections and Mayawati has decided to field more minority candidates especially in the riots hit place of Uttar Pradesh.
