Former South African President Nelson Mandela is on life support but doctors have denied reports that he is in a vegetative state. President Jacob Zuma clarified that he is very much under the care of the South African medical experts.

It is rumored that doctors were advised to turn off life support machine, the claims of which were revealed in court documents. The icon's grandson is currently in the middle of a very controversial row and it has been said that Mandela would not recover.  

However, doctors say there is improvement.
